Description

Mio Maya is located on the white sand beaches of the Caribbean. The home was completed in 2006 as an architectural masterpiece. Large windows face the ocean from every room.

An open floor plan provides conversation between the large island centered kitchen and the sunny living room. Enjoy the morning sun from the ocean side patios on the main floor or from the private patio off the mater bedroom. In the afternoon sit on the garden side and enjoy the beautiful tropical flower garden or watch the sun set from the roof top terrace. You will be in the sun all day long.

The main attraction is right out front, the Meso American Reef, 200 yards from our door. Large patch coral is just a short swim away and snorkel all day with every tropical fish you can identify. Take the kayak out to the “big reef” and explore for miles. Or have the local scuba boat pick you up to explore the reef with a diving guide. It is fantastic.

* This is a remote area, our home is located 12 KM north of Xcalak and we operate totally “off the grid”. Our home is powered by the sun and a back up generator.
We have only one close neighbor. A small dirt road is our only access in and out. We are not a “tourist” location.
